Rev. Robert J. Williams, Jr. & 1st Lady Dian Faucette
"A Man With A Vision." — leading the Williams Memorial family, now Williams Cathedral, since July 1977.
A pastor, a husband, a father, a visionary
The Williams Memorial Church Family, now Williams Cathedral, has been under the leadership of Rev. Robert J. Williams, Jr. since July 1977. His dynamic leadership has produced four decades of growth, outreach, building, and discipleship — a congregation that has moved from a humble corner in High Point to a 1,000+ seat Cathedral on Triangle Lake Road.
A devoted family man, Pastor Williams is the father of three daughters — Rolanda, Rochelle, and Robyn — two sons-in-law, Sayeed Ullah and Calvin McGowan, a grandson, Todd Baldwin, Jr., and a granddaughter, Amani Baldwin. He is married to the former Dian Faucette of Burlington, N.C., who serves alongside him as First Lady.
Pastor Williams believes his purpose in coming to Williams Memorial, now Williams Cathedral, was to "teach the congregation how to love and be loved." That purpose still shapes the pulpit, the pews, and every ministry that flows from this house.
